Highly respected in the personal lines and home sector, William has won several industry awards for process driven improvements across claims and has led several claims and supplier transformations in recent years in Admiral and L&G.

Robert Davies has 18 years of experience in the insurance industry across motor vehicle and personal injury claims, and domestic property. Robert has been at Admiral since 2006, and is currently its Deputy Head of Household Claims at Admiral where he oversees customer-facing operations, including loss notification, claims handling, and fraud detection and prevention.

James Burge is the head of counter fraud at Allianz Insurance.
For the last six years, he has been leading Allianz’s counter fraud strategy, managing teams of investigators and fraud specialists who detect and debunk organised scams and opportunistic fraud targeting the commercial insurer.
James started his career at Allianz as a motor underwriter more than 20 years ago, progressing to a manager of technical underwriting, before being promoted to head of counter fraud.
James Burge sits on the General Insurance Fraud Committee (GIFC) who represent the general insurance industry to identify new threats and provide oversight for the Insurance Fraud Bureau (IFB). He takes part in many industry events like Insurance Times’ Fraud Charter, and he is regularly interviewed for the BBC’s Claimed and Shamed programme.

James has been a consumer campaigner and financial journalist for over 20 years. In 2014, James launched Fairer Finance, the independent consumer group, consultancy, and ratings provider whose mission is to help create a financial services market that is fair for consumers as well as the companies that serve them. Prior to this, he worked for the consumer group, Which?, where he campaigned for a better deal for customers of banks and insurers in the wake of the financial crisis. James is a member of the CII’s professional standards committee and the ABI’s Consumer Advisory Group and he is also frequently interviewed on national television and radio, where he has appeared on shows such as Watchdog, Rip-off Britain, Dispatches and Moneybox.

Nick joined Allianz in the UK in 2015 as technical claims manager, progressing to fraud manager and head of motor claims. In 2020, he moved to Allianz Group in Munich, as senior global P&C executive, he led on the creation and implementation of a globalised digital fraud solution. He then became part of the Allianz Customer Model (ACM) leadership team with a focus on improving claims processes and aligning supply chain networks globally. After this experience developing IT assets that support the claims journey, he re-joined the UK technical claims team as head of insurance claims specialising in Commercial business areas.

Michael has been in the Motor Accident Repair industry for over 35 years, starting as an Apprentice Panel Beater, and is currently The Motor Network Manager at LV= General Insurance. His experience over these years includes Bodyshop Estimating, Bodyshop Manager, Insurance Engineer and has been involved in engineering and repair networks at a management level.
Michael has always been passionate about the repair industry and has an established understanding of the Insurance and motor bodyshop supply chain. He regularly contributes to industry publications and attends Industry events for panel discussions on behalf of LV= General Insurance.
Today, his focus is building and adapting our network for the future and to ensure our repairers deliver LV= General Insurance and its customers the very best in performance and service.
